LOCKDOWN BENEFITED TO REDUCE POLLUTION AND INCREASED VISIBILITY

LOCKDOWN HELPED NATURE TO HEAL

It's not that lockdown because of COVID-19 has only given us negative experiences, there are hand full positive experiences in recent times. Foremost was some more time with family and time for ourself (me-time), in this fast moving life. Reconnecting with the broken links, school/college friends, relatives, practicing ever wanted amusements/hobbies, that we were procrastinating, finishing the web-series eating dust on our wish-list. Closed industries and fewer automobiles have improved the AQI (Air Quality Index). As per the report CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) 78% cities recorded 'Good', 'Satisfactory' AQI during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Less pollution has also resulted into better visibility and thus many of the cities across the nation could see some mesmerising views of mountain ranges, which were not at all visible since last some decades or ever as per their memories. Here is the list of 6 cities where people could see these astounding mountain ranges from their balconies.
Just imagine yourself waking up with a view of Himalayas or Alps!!!

Here is what people saw in Jalandhar after almost 3 decades.
